Privacy Notice

Astrybit is a pre-launch business-management software project operated by Sarang Pidadi in India. This notice explains how Astrybit handles personal information when you visit the website, contact us or participate in the Founding Businesses program.

1. Information we collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, email address, phone number, business name, business category, city and state, business size, current software or operational processes, business challenges, preferred contact method, messages you send to us, and whether you separately choose to receive Astrybit product or marketing updates.

When you use our website, we may also receive limited technical information necessary to operate, secure and understand the website, such as referral information, campaign parameters and ordinary infrastructure or security logs.

We do not intend the Founding Businesses application to collect Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, banking details, payment-card information, customer lists, employee records, children's personal information or other unnecessary sensitive information. Please do not submit personal information about your customers, employees, children or other third parties through the application form.

2. Why we use your information

We may use the information you provide to evaluate your Founding Businesses application, communicate with you about it, arrange product or discovery conversations, understand the needs of businesses considering Astrybit, improve product and market research, respond to requests, protect the website and prevent misuse, and send occasional Astrybit product or launch updates only where you have separately chosen to receive them.

Submitting a Founding Businesses application does not automatically subscribe you to promotional marketing.

3. Data minimisation

We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is requested. If information is not required for evaluating or communicating about your application, please do not provide it.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may use trusted service providers to operate Astrybit's website and related systems, including services for website hosting, cloud infrastructure, database and authentication, domain and network security, email delivery or routing, analytics where enabled, and other technical services necessary to operate Astrybit.

Our current technical infrastructure includes providers such as Cloudflare, Vercel and Supabase. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect Astrybit, users or others from fraud, security threats or unlawful activity.

5. Marketing communications

If Astrybit offers an option to receive promotional updates, that choice will be separate from submitting a Founding Businesses application and will not be pre-selected.

You may withdraw from optional marketing communications at any time using the method provided in the communication or by contacting privacy@astrybit.com. Stopping marketing communications does not prevent us from sending messages necessary to handle an application, requested conversation or later service relationship.

6. How long we keep information

We do not intend to retain personal information indefinitely simply because it can be stored.

For the initial Founding Businesses program, active applications are retained while evaluation and communication are ongoing. Inactive or unsuccessful applications are intended to be reviewed for deletion approximately 12 months after the last meaningful interaction. If an applicant becomes a beta user or customer, information genuinely required for that relationship may be transferred to the appropriate business record and redundant application information should be deleted when no longer required.

The 12-month review period is an Astrybit operating policy, not a statutory retention period. Information may be retained for longer where applicable law, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security investigation or another legitimate requirement requires it.

7. Security

We use technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet or information system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and Astrybit does not claim that its systems are 100% secure.

8. Your privacy choices and requests

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may ask us about personal information relating to you and may request appropriate correction, updating or erasure. You may also withdraw optional marketing permission.

To make a privacy request or raise a concern, contact privacy@astrybit.com. We may need to take reasonable steps to verify that a request relates to you before acting on it.

9. Children

The Astrybit website and Founding Businesses application are intended for adults acting on behalf of businesses. Please do not submit personal information about children through the Founding Businesses application.

Astrybit may later provide software used by businesses that serve children, including sports or recreation businesses. Any such functionality will require separate product, contractual and privacy safeguards before real children's data is processed.

10. International processing

Some technology providers used to operate Astrybit may process information using infrastructure located outside India. Astrybit will review its service providers and data-processing arrangements as the service progresses toward beta and production and will comply with applicable restrictions on transfers of personal data.

11. Changes to this Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice as Astrybit develops, its services change or applicable requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and version shown on this page.
